Day 1Welcome on arrival Yangon by Evening
Flight. Transfer to hotel and dinner at Shan Restaurant. Stay
overnight at hotel, Yangon.
Day 2
Depart to Mandalay by express train.
Transfer to hotel and overnight in Mandalay.
Day 3
After breakfast at hotel, visit Amarapura, an ancient
capital from 11km south of Mandalay and U Bein Bridge -
1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge built over
Taungthaman Lake , Mahagandayon Monastery - home to
several thousand young monks as a center for monastic
study and strict religious discipline,and Silk weaving
home cottage. Lunch is good local restaurant.
Late afternoon, visit Mahamuni Pagoda- home to
Mandalay's holiest Buddha statue, 12.5ft high-seated
image, which is heavily overlaid with gold. Visit to
Marble stone carving workshops, Bronze casting
workshops, Puppet Shop, Tapestry work-shop, Wood carving
and making showroom, Gold leaf beating workshop.
Continue to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery -
known for its traditional wooden carvings, Atumashi
Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda- known as the World's Biggest
Book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the whole
Buddhist scriptures, and enjoy the sunset view from the
Mandalay Hill. Dinner will be Thai or Chinese food at
local restaurant. Stay overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 4After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to
jetty for leaving Mandalay to Bagan by boat. In the evening,
arrive Bagan, transfer to hotel.Dinner with puppet show at local
restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 5
After breakfast, start excursion trip to Mount Popa, an extinct
volcano of 1500 metres at the highest point. Mount Popa and its
environs are the only lush green place amidst the desert area of
Middle Myanmar. Climb up the 730 metres high conic flattop
(Named as Popa Taung Kalat) by 777 steep steps. It is the home
of Myanmar's legendary 37 Nats or Spirits. You can see the
panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes from the top of the
Popa Taung Kalat.
After lunch, visit the Popa National Park, with dense Sandalwood
forests and rare species of birds and butterflies. Return trip
to Bagan. On the way, visit to jaggery <palm sugar> making
cottages and toddy-palm grooves. Admire the sunset view of the
Bagan Area from the uppermost terraces of the Shwe Sandaw
Pagoda. Dinner and Overnight in Bagan.
Day 6
After breakfast at hotel, depart to Yangon by express
bus. It takes 6-hours to get Yangon. transfer to hotel
and overnight in Yangon.
Day 7
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to Shwedagon
Pagoda - over 2500 years old and one of the world's most
spectacular religious monuments, Chaukhtatgyi- a huge
reclining Buddha Image, Bogyoke Market (formerly name,
the Scott Market) where hundreds of stalls for gems &
jewelry, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center.
Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure
by evening flight.
